Session fees and rebates
Individual Psychology Solutions is a private practice for adults 18 years+. Fees and payment options are discussed with you during the initial session as set out below.
If you have a current MHTP
If you have a current referral to me at Individual Psychology Solutions and a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), you are eligible for a Medicare rebate - currently $89.65 per session. Your rebate will be paid back into your account from Medicare. You may be eligible for up to 20 sessions per calendar year.
Your doctor can FAX your referral to Individual Psychology Solutions at 612 6169 3025.
If you do not have a MHTP
If you do not have a current MHTP, the standard fee per session is $195. You may receive some of this back from your private health insurance depending on your level of cover.
Workers Compensation and Work Cover
Clients with a current WorkSafe/WorkCover claim may be eligible for Psychology sessions if this is approved as part of their recovery. Your Workers’ Compensation insurer will be invoiced by us for these sessions. Your doctor will refer you to us.
Transport Accident Commission
If you have been injured while driving and require psychological services as part of your recovery, your doctor can refer you to us. Clients with a current TAC claim may be eligible for Telehealth sessions funded by the TAC. The fee per session varies is determined by the TAC. Discuss your referral with your doctor who can refer you to us.
Concession Card Holders
For concession card holders (Age Pension, Disability Support Pension, Job Seeker Payment) the standard fee per session is $140. If you have a current referral to me at Individual Psychology Solutions and a MHTP you are eligible for a Medicare rebate - currently $89.65 per session. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session
Like all of us, unexpected things can crop up and we understand that you may need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
Giving at least 24 hours notice will allow another client to make a booking at that appointment time.
